The certification process
Receipt
of cards
The content of the shipment is analyzed and compared with the order details. The customer is informed by email of the reception of his cards.
Analysis
Visual
Each card is carefully examined by two certifiers. We check and record any defects visible to the naked eye. At this stage, we also analyze the condition of the edges with a magnifying glass.
Centering
Each card is scanned and submitted to our software that accurately measures the centering.
Surface
and corners
The card is then examined under a digital microscope to detect micro-scratches, varnish chips or any other possible defect. The slightest deterioration of the card is detected.
label and digital report
The scores for each criterion are listed and transcribed on the label and the defects of the card are specified in the report. A QR code is created and imported on the label which is printed.
Encapsulation
The card, label and case are cleaned with an ionizing gun to remove any impurities and then sealed with ultrasound.
Final scan
The card, sealed and noted, is then scanned on both sides and linked to the QR code to finalize the digital report.
Shipping
The cards are packaged, protected and shipped by insured mail. The customer receives a confirmation email and a tracking number.
